Using the Pro ADV as a base, the ADV SC features a 'Super Carbon' material construction. Using less resin than the standard autoclaving technique, this leaves more pure carbon in the shell and reduces the weight further. The seat is fully HANS compatible for use in professional motorsport and features reinforced wear patches on the edges of the seat. For taller drivers, there is also a version of the seat with increased height. Further weight saving is also available with an Ultra Lightweight edition which saves approximately a further 3kg, also with an increased height version.

With strength at the top of its class and able to withstand over 3,000 kg of lateral force, the ADV SC seat has an energy- absorption system in the areas subjected to the highest stress, a lining in self-extinguishing fabric and a non-slip fabric for restraining the shoulders and for the seat. Fixed using lateral fastenings with 290 mm spacing.
